PROJECTS

Qommute

Open-source python package Qommute which optimizes complex transportation networks by utilizing quantum technologies for station placement and route optimization. The solution aims to minimize delays, reduce operational costs, and improve the overall effectiveness of the system. Our approach combines quantum algorithms like the Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE) and the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA) with a machine learning model built using PyTorch. This model, trained on extensive historical data, accurately predicts potential delays. These delay predictions are seamlessly integrated into the quantum route optimization process, reducing delays and operational costs.

Qathir

By leveraging the quantum-enhanced end-to-end solution for cost-efficient sensor placement and rapid fault and vulnerability localization, Qathir enables the robust and efficient use of the increasingly complex water distribution networks of tomorrow.

Course Search

The Course Search Application, designed for New York University, is a comprehensive full-stack web tool that empowers students to explore, evaluate, and interact with their courses in a more efficient manner. Users can submit course reviews and utilize diverse criteria to visualize and compare various offerings. Additionally, the application provides a unique feature allowing students to join course-specific study focus rooms for seamless collaboration, leveraging the WebRTC technology. This innovative solution streamlines the course selection process and fosters a collaborative learning environment for NYU students, ultimately enhancing their educational experience. The application is freely accessible, contributing to a more accessible and efficient academic journey for the university's students.
